    Aislinn Hagan Bio

    Fresh out of University with a BA Hons degree in Media Studies, Aislínn was snapped up by MD Trevor Birney's Production Company ‘Below the Radar’ in Oct 2006 as a Video Journalist.

    Most recently AIslinn presented on BBC ONE NI’s ‘In your Corner‘ alongside Wendy Austin, Claire McCollum and Chris Moore producing a vox-pop feature called ‘Talk of the Town.’ Reporting from the streets of the various locations across the north each week, Aislinn met various characters to find out what issues mattered to them in their area. Aislinn admits this has been the most exciting role to date - mixing what she what she loves best meeting people and finding out their stories.

    Currently Aislínn is producing video content for Fermanagh.TV, an innovative county based video website. Recently she picked up the ‘Digital innovation award’ at the CIPR awards. Futhermore BTR haS just launched a new Irish language website Meon Eile. In preparation for launch, Aislinn trained the new Irish language VJ'S to self-shoot. Presently she is editing the sites video content as well as filming some packages.

    Aislinn was a familiar face on the Irish News Online from 2006-2009, presenting, filming and editing daily content including “Word on the Street,” as well as political, community, entertainment & sports news from across Northern Ireland. Breaking new ground, the Irish News was the first paper in Ireland to produce daily Internet news via video reports and Aislinn was at the forefront of this new wave of journalism.

    Her work has provided the opportunity to interview some of the big names in Northern Ireland today including Martin McGuinness and Peter Robinson, as well as to rub shoulders with stars such as Shane Ward, Sean Bean and Girls Aloud.  She also presented BBCNI Children in Need along with George Jones and Christine Bleakley.

    Last year Aislinn joined CMPR agency as a new talent. Working with Cathy Martin Aislinn produces video packages for Belfast Fashion Week TV as well as many other fashion & lifestyle events including this years Miss Northern Ireland promotion videos. Recently she produced IN Magazines Glamour Awards for IN!TV.

    Radio is one of her greatest passions. Taking over the airwaves every Tues Night on Féile FM 103.2,‘The Aislínn & Tony Show’ provides a unique mix of musical tastes & influences which makes the show one of the most popular at the station. She also sits on one of Europe’s largest community festivals Feile an Phobail’s management committee. Aislínn has worked in every area of the festival from compering events to fronting road shows.

    Her job, both behind and in front of the camera, means Aislínn is able to perform in any situation, whether it be on a pig farm, a sea plane, a mountain top, the back of a speed boat, a rally car or reporting from the edge of the red carpet. Her wide range of interests makes her a great choice for clients as she can adapt her presenting style to whatever task is at hand.
