Aislínn produced video content for Fermanagh.TV an innovative county based video website from May 2009- 2012. During her time working on this project Aislinn picked up the ‘Digital innovation award’ at the CIPR awards in Belfast June 2010.

Fermanagh TV had 9 channels ranging from latest news and media to sport, arts, education, business, community, people, global communications, leisure and tourism and out & about.

The website set out to give an online voice to an area that is often neglected by the major broadcasters and it has been rewarded by loyalty and interest from generations more attuned to their laptops and iPhones than their television sets or local newspapers.

Aislínn managed this project as well as being the main Video Journalist that traveled the length and breath of the county. The website catered for real people living real lives, covering areas of interest that they wouldn’t find elsewhere.

Fermanagh TV put Aislínn in every situation possible and both as a camerawoman and reporter it has enabled her to deal with any situation. Leaving her city roots Aislínn has put on her water boots and truly got her feet dirty in the Fermanagh Country side and by her own admission it’s been one of the most exciting and rewarding years of her career to date.

Whether it was being on a pig farm, a sea plane, a mountain top, the back of a speed boat, a castle museum or a rally car, fermanagh tv has given Aislinn the opportunity to explore her adventurous side with some of the friendliest and charming people in the island of Ireland.
