The Big Fashion Event @ Fairhill Shopping Centre

I always love it when I meet a new Client and in this case it was two new clients- Pulse PR and Fairhill Shopping Centre. I have never been in Fairhill before although I have heard so much about it. As always when their is fashion involved it was a great afternoon. It was lovely catching up with the lovely ACA models as they took to the catwalk to showcase the new season trends at the spring/summer 'Big Fashion Event'.

Fairhill stylist Peter Lamont had his very own 'Style Wardrobe' fashion area which gave him the chance to show shoppers how to mix and match items to create must-have looks.

Boots make-up artists used the latest products from Estee Lauder, Clinique, No 7 and Clarins on the models and Electric Chair in Ballymena created some eye catching looks. After each show the models returned to shop windows to give shoppers some further style inspiration by bringing the outfits to life.

Summer has finally arrived and I will definitely be trying out some of these looks xx

    Spring Made Stylist

It is great to produce videos that support your local town. Although I am originally from Belfast I moved to Lurgan when I was 15 so in a few years I will have lived there as long as I did in the big smoke. 'Spring Made Stylist' was an event orgainised by Craigavon Borough Council as part of their 'Full of the Joys of Spring' campaign, visitors from near and far flocked to the towns to get inspiration from the professional models strutting their stuff in the stunning fashions offered by the chic boutiques in the towns.

With spot prizes being handed out to fashionable shoppers as well as special one-day only discounts, hair and beauty makeovers and a U105 roadshow, the towns were buzzing!

I had a great day filming and I am delighted to be able to showcase the great community spirit of the people of Portadown and Lurgan. I also used music by Marty Thompson 'Dancing In The Rain' a local artist who has just launched his first EP #SUPPORTLOCAL

There are loads of events happening in the craigavon area so look out for more fun filled events!!

Paddy Mc Gurgan Make -Up Artist - Mature Sophisticated Skin -OFFICIAL VIDEO

‘The more Mature Skin was the topic of Paddy's Next tutorial. I think that it's wonderful that Paddy is trying using all ages for his tutorials. I can imagine, as you get older it would be hard to change your make up style or products as you are used to using the same make up over the years. I think Eileen is a fantastic model and it just shows you how age does not matter - Eileen's skin and hair is beautiful - she would give us young girls a run for our money. I have tried some of these techniques on my own mum and the results where brilliant xx

‘The show must go on’ never had a truer meaning that this years Belfast FashionWeek. With a sudden change of climate we all found ourselves in the middle of a winter wonderland scene as BFW opened it's doors on Wednesday night. With a few feet of snow, a power cut and stranded audience members the CMPR team pulled out all the stops to make sure the show was to go ahead.

Amidst the few hours without light I found myself being rather popular not for my personality and great style but for my light lol... Yes in fact my little camera light saved my day as I was still able to film our behind the scenes footage for BFWTV. I do admit it was challenging but it worked. With a combination of close ups and filming interviews twice we managed to get the footage in the bag!! That’s what I love about live events as Ellie Goulding states– Anything Could Happen!!

The fashion gods above however came to the rescue as seconds before the first model stepped onto the catwalk the power came back on and all was not lost as the beautiful trends of spring summer where seen in their full glory.

Hope you enjoy the highlights from the three nights especially those of you who where stranded and couldn't make the shows xxx

Ps. I loved the new venue such a great space for filming lots of light and interesting angles x

Over the past few weeks I have been working on two corporate videos for Trade Credit Brokers and also Keys Finance. The brief was to explain exactly what they do and why business should use credit insurance and commercial finance. They are using the videos as part of a workshop road show that they are facilitating a series of workshops across the North. I had a ball working with the Nigel, Judith and Diane and I even got a little trip to London as well. It is inspiring to work with people who are passionate about their product and driven to succeed. I wish them all the luck in the world with there venture.
